GATE-Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination which opens gate for public sectors and also in the field of research. This is an all India examination and is conducted in eight zones all over India, by GATE Committee. With successful GATE scores, one can opt for many roads for their future. They can opt for:
 Get into PSUs such as IOCL, NPTC, and BHEL etc.
 As a research fellow in ISRO, DRDO, BARC, CSIR, IITs and many.

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2020 is already just a week ahead. As we all know, GATE will be organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in online mode on February 2, 3, 9 and 10th, this year. There is also an addition in the paper this year. ‘Statistics’ is the new paper added making the total number of papers to 24.

The GATE application form was started from August 31st, 2019 and had to be filled through GOAPS (Gate Online Application Processing System). The IIT Madras has already released the Admit card on January 4th, 2020. The validity of GATE 2020 score card will be for three years from the date on which the results have been declared.

Soon after the conclusion of the exam, there will be answer keys which will be released officially from IIT Madras in the 3rd week of February. These answer keys will be released for all 24 papers and candidates can compare their answers with those five in GATE 2020 answer keys.

The exam conducting authority will release the exam results for all 24 papers on March 16th. These results will be available on GOAPS and candidates can download their score card.But after the release of answer keys, there will be a long gap for the results to come. Candidates have to wait for long time to choose their path. If at all there didn’t get a good score, it will be a problem for them to opt a different way then.
